Control Sediment Movement Before It Reaches The Watercourse
Silt FencingA Practical Barrier Between Disturbed Ground And The Watercourse
Silt fencing is installed across the expected path of surface run-off to intercept soil and sediment moving from exposed ground. The porous geotextile slows the flow and allows water to pass through, while larger suspended particles accumulate on the upstream side of the barrier.
Correct positioning is essential. The fence should follow the site contours and run across the anticipated direction of flow rather than directly down a slope. Its lower edge is buried within a compacted trench to reduce water and sediment passing beneath the fabric.

Developed For Effective Site Sediment Control
Permeable Sediment Barrier
Allows water to pass through while retaining soil and suspended sediment.High-Strength Geotextile
Woven polypropylene provides a strong temporary barrier for exposed sites.UV-Stabilised Material
Added UV protection supports continued outdoor use throughout the project.Burial Marker Lines
Visible lines help installers position the fabric at the recommended trench depth.Reusable & Repositionable
Serviceable sections can be adjusted or relocated as the project progresses.Complete Kit Available
Rolls, timber posts, nails and protective washers can be supplied together.Where Silt Fencing Is Used

Construction & Groundworks
Control soil movement around excavations, compounds and areas of disturbed ground.

Drainage Ditches
Intercept sediment-laden run-off before it enters temporary or permanent drainage channels.

Watercourse Protection
Reduce the movement of soil towards rivers, streams and other nearby waterbodies.

Land & Erosion Control
Provide temporary sediment control during landscaping, seasonal works and land management.
